Below a brief presentation of my career related to Inland Waterways vessels. 

For nearly 14 years I have been inspecting Inland Waterways Vessels for Lloyd's Register, a well-known Classification Society (IACS member). In this function I was the first point of contact for the national owners. My duty was to perform:

-Class related surveys (hull and machinery)

-Statutory surveys (ADN, ROSR, ES-TRIN) 

 

Currently I'm involved with:

-Damage inspections for the Belgian government,

-Assisting the Flemish Authorities regard to ADN regulations and certification.

-QHSE and technical management for an LNG bunckering company (transport at -162°C).

-Certified by the Belgium authorities as trainer of my ADN gascourse intended for the crew of 

  inland gas ships.

-Qualified as ADN safety advisor for class 2 - gasses
